Basically, it is very simple.

You put fuel in your car. Put the wrong fuel in, the car does not function anymore.

The body is far more clever however as it has a survival instinct. Put the wrong fuel in it and it will carry on for as long as it possibly can. With that though, it copes as best as it can and it cannot function to it’s optimum as it needs the right fuel packed with nutrients. Poor nutrition therefore leads to a multitude of diseases which we see all too frequently today.

Eating well  and a healthy lifestyle however means something different to everyone but there are some basics. There is also so much we do not know yet.
